float and flow: a feminine yoga flow and lake swim event

Saturday 12 March 2022 5pm
'The Cut', Lough Lene, Collinstown

As part of International Women's Week Adventure Festival 7-13 March - Galz Gone Wild

Proceeds to Women's Aid

I am teaming up with my sister Katy Harrison and Anna Browne of Big Sky Flowers to bring you the magical experience of women coming together for yoga, cold water swimming by candle light as the sun sets, chats and connection on the banks of Lough Lene.

There is a beautiful grassy patch for a short Feminine Yoga Flow to light our inner flame before floating in the spring-fed lake surrounded by woodlands, with crystal clear water and sand underfoot.

Big Sky Flowers will provide some beautiful seasonal and naturally grown botanicals to enhance this Float and Flow event.

Cost: This is a donation based event with all proceeds going to Women's Aid (please book your spot so we can keep track of numbers, there is no cost for booking but there will be a donation box there on the evening so that you can donate at your own discretion)

What to bring: comfy warm clothes/coat/hat/socks, swimming gear, towel, hot water bottle. Yoga mat is optional, but the yoga flow will be designed to work on the grass without a mat.
This event is part of the Galz Gone Wild International Women's Week Adventure Festival running from 7-13 March.

feminine yoga flow

2023 dates TBC

A dynamic and replenishing yoga practice for women.

The intention for this vinyasa flow class is for women to increase strength and flexibility, as well as to experience connection, restoration and the feeling of being held. The class will weave the cyclical wisdom of nature (the seasons, the moon, women’s cycles, the elements) with Ireland’s spiritual heritage, poetry and traditional yogic philosophies. The class is defined by attention to the breath, alignment with the intelligence of the heart mind connection, in flow with the power and inner wisdom of the body.

This class takes place in person at Shiva Yoga Kilbeggan and online. It is mixed level and would suit those with some yoga experience.

The link for the online class will be sent out in advance of the class by email. Please check your email/spam folder for the zoom link. Once you have subscribed to my mailing list, you will receive the link each week.
